Research

My research is at the intersection of Computer Science and Big Data domains such as Environmental Informatics, Transportation, Socio-economics and Healthcare. Recent focus has been on deriving predictive analytics algorithms and applications for data-intensive domains such as Inland Water Transportation, Healthcare, Political Science and Climate Science. Work involves full-stack development of Big data acquisition systems, predictive algorithms that learn from growing data streams and development of web-based visual analytics for insight discovery.
